The Children

In Uganda, 7.5 million children are categorized as orphans or vulnerable children (OVCs). These children suffer from entrenched poverty and the ongoing effects of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. They live at constant risk of exploitation and abduction. They subsist on the margins of society and lack the basic necessities of life.

Limited available resources have required us to focus our efforts on those most vulnerable, those in greatest need of safety and support: children who have lost both parents.

87 orphans live in residence at the school. This ensures their safety, medical care, and educational needs are attended to.
